Helen listened for 4 hours while I told her my entire life story (I talk super fast) and then said, "Hollie, write the book."

Relief. The weight of the world lifted. Why? The power of one person hearing you, truly hearing you. Truly seeing you. And OMG… believing in you.

Don't ever doubt the power of one.

Yes, the most important thing is that we believe in ourselves. But there will always be a time, when we (I) need so badly, so desperately for just one other human begin to see us and to believe in us. Powerful.

Helen did that for me and it was PURE AWESOMENESS. God bless you Helen, for listening intently for 4 hours straight and for hearing, seeing, and believing in me.
